We are Okol Group Smart Integration, a boutique design and installation firm specialized in smart home automation and entertainment systems. We use cutting-edge technology and techniques to improve people's lifestyle at their two most important places: home and office.

What is Bicsi?

Bicsi stands for Building Industry Consulting Service International. According to their website, “Bicsi provides information, education and knowledge assessment for individuals and companies in the ITS industry. We serve more than 23,000 ITS professionals, including designers, installers and technicians. These individuals provide the fundamental infrastructure for telecommunications, audio/video, life safety and automation systems. Through courses, conferences, publications and professional registration programs, BICSI staff and volunteers assist ITS professionals in delivering critical products and services, and offer opportunities for continual improvement and enhanced professional stature.”

In other words, Bicsi helps define the educational standard for IT professionals to learn information technology systems. Cabling contractors, electrical engineers, manufacturers, system integrators and other IT professionals join Bicsi to enhance their knowledge and skills.

What is FOA?

FOA stands for The Fiber Optic Association. According to their website, "The FOA is an international non-profit educational organization that is chartered to promote professionalism in fiber optics through education, certification and standards. Founded in 1995 by a dozen prominent fiber optics trainers and industry personnel as a professional society for fiber optics and a source of independent certification, the FOA has grown to now being involved in numerous activities to educate the world about fiber optics and train the workers who design, build and operate the world's fiber optic networks."
